The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are visiting Lil'wat Nation territory this week ahead of the Invictus Games next February. On Feb. 15, the Royals met with members of the Nation in Mount Currie, where they took part in a game of wheelchair basketball and talked with Lil'wat leadership.
Later that day, they stopped by the Whistler Sliding Centre, where Prince Harry hit 99 km/h on a skeleton sled before taking time to speak with Invictus Games participants.
The Invictus Games take place Feb. 8 to 16, 2025. The Games are currently seeking volunteers. Find more info here.
