Vancouver actor Ryan Reynolds gave a subtle shout-out to his hometown, sharing a photo on Instagram wearing a Kitsilano Secondary School sweatshirt.

Ryan Reynolds showed some love to his Vancouver origins.

The Deadpool actor, who was born and raised in Vancouver, shared a snap on his Instagram story Wednesday (Sept. 27) morning wearing a cozy blue sweatshirt.

But the snug hoodie is more than a piece of comfortable attire.

Fellow Vancouverites can recognize the name Kitsilano, written in bold yellow cursive letters across the sweatshirt. "Blue Demons" is written underneath -- the name of Kitsilano Secondary School's sports team.

"Zoom zoom," Reynolds captioned the story. This is probably a reference to the school's chant at sports games.

This also isn't the first time that the actor gave nods and shout-outs to Vancouver, whether that's a local filmmaker or business. Reynolds also blessed the city with some funny, iconic moments last year.
