Australia's national airline, Qantas, launched its "Come & Say G’Day to Australia” sale on Tuesday, Oct. 31, which applies to several flights across its network and runs until Monday, Nov. 6.
Economy tickets for direct, round-trip flights from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Sydney International Airport (SYD) start at $1,499, with fares for Premium Economy and Business class starting at $3,199 and $6,299, respectively.
For example, a flight that departs from Vancouver on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, and returns a week later on Monday, Feb. 26 costs $1,499 including all taxes and fees.
Adding stopovers on flights from Vancouver to Sydney, Australia
The sale doesn't specify any "blackout dates" but Qantas notes that "discounts vary from route to route" and on "selected travel dates."
A quick scroll through the Google Flights price calendar highlights the drastic variation of prices, with most of the appealing fares starting to take off in February 2024. That said, there are some more attractive ticket prices before then, too.
