The Prince George Citizen has obtained videos shown during the trial of Paul Nicholas Russell, who stands accused of nine charges, including counts of attempted murder with a firearm, after shots were fired at the Vanderhoof RCMP detachment in November 2021.
During the trial at the Prince George courthouse, testimony was heard from RCMP officers, including an officer from the Prince George detachment, as well as a psychiatrist and the accused man's mother.
Lawyers made their closing arguments Thursday. B.C. Supreme Court Justice Francesca Marzari will issue verdicts on the counts at a later date.
