Squamish conservationist John Buchanan takes us along on his regular salmon survey of Mashiter Creek, which is found east of Ring Creek and northwest of Raffuse Creek.
Buchanan says there were more salmon on his Aug. 20 visit than he has seen in that creek in a while. A good sign, to be sure.
