This is an opportunity to watch exciting adventure films and support Squamish Search and Rescue

Squamish-based digital company VentureWeb is once again presenting Mountainfilm on Tour on Saturday Nov. 18 at the Eagle Eye Theatre.

The two shows—a matinee and an evening show—raise funds for Squamish Search and Rescue.

Mountainfilm is an annual film festival held in Telluride, Colorado, that showcases adventure, environmental and social justice films.

"A selection of films then tour around the world, with grassroot[s] events packed with engaged adventure lovers from Chamonix to Tokyo," a news release reads.

On screen for more than two hours, will be a selection of short films, including by local Sea to Sky filmmakers.

There will also be food and drinks, a silent auction and door prizes with all funds raised going to SAR.

The matinee starts at 3 p.m. and the evening show starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $30 for the matinee show and $40 for the evening show.

Tickets can be purchased in person from Urban Alpine in Garibaldi Village or Valhalla Pure in Squamish or online at Canada Helps.
