Have you seen the June Pearl's Value & Vintage window display?

According to Valerie Nagy, operations co-ordinator with Pearl's, Squamish Valley Elders curated the latest display to celebrate Indigenous History Month and showcase Sḵwx̱wú7mesh history and heritage.

The display includes loaned local art and heirlooms, such as late hereditary Chief Tsee-Qawl-tuhn Dominic Charlie's leather paddle jacket, and a totem pole carved by late master carver Kapulk-t Andy Natrall.

"Huy chexw to the Elders and everyone involved for sharing your land, time, and art with the community of Squamish," Nagy said, in an email to The Squamish Chief.
