It is with the greatest sadness that I announce the passing of Ed Neil, who passed away in Lions Gate Hospital on Dec. 23, 2022.
Ed was predeceased by his loving family – Douglas Neil, Alice Neil and Aunt Marjorie Keyes.
He is survived by his partner of 42 years, Rory Odenbach, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Ed was born in Vancouver B.C., and lived for 70 years in his beloved Squamish
Special thanks to Jim Jameson and the ICU staff at Lions Gate. And Special thanks to our friend Gail Olusanya for all her support.
There will be no funeral service as per Ed's request. In lieu of flowers, if able, a memorial contribution towards Crohn's research through crohnscolitisfoundation.org would be appreciated.
Ed's remains will be cremated, and we will be having a private family gathering at a later date.
