Squamish photographer Brian Aikens sent in this photo of work going on at the Oceanfront Squamish lands this week.
A spokesperson for developer Matthews West told The Squamish Chief that what can be seen in the photo is footings being poured for the Welcome Gate, a piece by Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) artist James Harry (in the sub-area plan, this piece is referred to as the Lands End Monument).
