1. Today, April 2, is TWIG, Wood First Wednesday at Rubenovitch Furnishings & Co., 37831A 2 Ave., from 6 to 8 p.m.
"The Sea to Sky Wood Network (S2S) was created to unite wood professionals monthly in the Sea to Sky Corridor. Through these gatherings, we foster knowledge exchange, connections, community," reads the listing.
2. Also today, April 2, it is Nerd Nite #11 : Breathwork, Aviation and Earthquakes, at Brackendale Art Gallery: Café & Culture Centre, located at 41950 Government Rd, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
"Breathing Your Way to Balance with Laurisa Elle: Laurisa will explore the nerdy science of stress and regulation. She will break down the nervous system, explain how breathwork shifts states, dive into the physiology of techniques, and lead a fun, interactive demo," reads the listing.
"Earthquakes with Tyler Southam: Tyler will give us an overview of what earthquakes are, and touch on the Turkey event, the purpose of earthquake reconnaissance and seismic hazard in southwest B.C.," the listing continues.
"Aviation with Glenne: We will fly through the history of a Canadian achievement in modern aviation with Glenne. From a grassroots movement to proven tech for flight to space, the Canadian built Varieze Pegasus is an expression of engineering advancement, artistic expression and absolute courage."
3. On April 4, there's the Ocean Film Festival Canada, at Eagle Eye Community Theatre, located at 38430 Buckley Ave., from 6 to 9 p.m.

4. Also April 4, Rumpus is at Trickster's Hideout, located at 38005 Cleveland Ave., from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

5. On April 8, there's the Squamish Chamber of Commerce Lunch & Learn 2025: From Hire to Farewell with Race & Company, at the Adventure Centre from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
