The Elemental Concert Series's last concert is in early June.
In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Howe Sound Performing Arts Association (HSPAA) in Squamish has put on several concerts featuring various artists and music. The fourth and last concert in the series, Water, will feature pianist Erik Musseau.
“Immerse yourself in piano repertoire from Bach, Beethoven, Schumann and Brahms,” reads a news release about the performance.
Additionally, a youth performer, Sylvan Ashbaugh, will make a guest appearance.
The upcoming show takes place at St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Garibaldi Estates and starts at 7:30 p.m. with doors open at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available for $30 on the HSPAA’s website.
Previously, the HSPAA held concerts titled Air, Fire and Earth, each showcasing unique musicians and genres, including singing, songwriting, jazz and Indigenous dancing.
The non-profit HSPAA began in 1993 and has brought numerous concerts and musician showcases in its 30 years, according to its website. One of its many highlights includes raising $46,000 for tsunami victims in Indonesia in 2005.
“It's safe to say that HSPAA has contributed greatly to the culture of our community and indeed inspired other artists,” reads the website.
