Two individuals face a slew of charges in relation to a series of crimes throughout southern B.C., including in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
Justin Colby and Raven Graham will be in court facing a total of 33 charges, including dangerous driving, flight from a peace officer, fraud, mischief, break and enter, possession of stolen property, theft under $5,000 and theft of a motor vehicle, according to an RCMP news release.
The charges were filed in January, police say.
The allegations have not been proven in court.
The crimes occurred between May 2 and June 17, 2022.
The General Investigation Section (GIS) of the Sea to Sky RCMP led the investigations, which included co-ordinating approximately 26 police files across Whistler and Pemberton, the release states.
Sea to Sky RCMP – GIS worked with partners in other jurisdictions, including Stl’Atl’Imx Tribal Police Service, West Vancouver Police Department, Vancouver Police Department, Integrated Police Dog Services, Integrated Forensic Identification Services, Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team as well as numerous RCMP detachments including Creston, Merritt, Coquitlam and Surrey, the release states.
"This crime spree affected many people in our community. We are pleased to see that our hard work in putting all the pieces together has resulted in numerous charges," said Sgt. Jeff Shore of the Sea to Sky RCMP.
