Even this Squamish shopping cart has had it with all the snow we have been getting.

Another Environment Canada winter storm watch in effect for Howe Sound.

Between 10 to 20 centimetres of snow is anticipated Wednesday evening to midday Thursday.

Over last weekend, an intense snowstorm brought 25 and 45 centimetres to the Sea to Sky.

"Rapidly accumulating snow, possibly affecting the Thursday morning commute," reads the alert.

Squamish meteorologist Jason Ross said that 10 centimetres fell by Tuesday morning.

"A low-pressure system is forecast to approach the B.C. coast later Wednesday. Due to the recent cold temperatures, snow will develop."

As always, the snow is expected to make travel hazardous due to reduced visibility.

"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery," reads the alert.

On Jan. 3, Squamish RCMP issued a release of nine vehicles involved in crashes on the highway, and Mounties reminded drivers to slow down, leave wider gaps between cars and respect the weather.

This has already become an issue in many spots around Squamish, due to previous snowfalls that were followed by rain and then more snow.

Freezing temperatures are expected in Squamish until Sunday when it will warm up to 4 C. Monday, Jan. 10 is forecast to reach 6 C.

According to Environment Canada, the average highs for town this time of year are 3.5 C and average lows drop to -1.3 C.
