Two campers reported a bear was so close to their tent, they could hear it breathing outside.
They called Squamish RCMP on Nov. 19 close to midnight while camped at Yosemite Hill on the Conroy Forest Service Road.
The pair shot two flares and the bear left.
Squamish RCMP say they’re still receiving a number of bear calls in Squamish and in the surrounding area.
