But in a surprise last minute move, Erickson chose to run for mayor as well. Patterson decided file his papers nonetheless.Bahm, who stated his intention to run for mayor last spring, is now running for council instead. Incumbents Lonsdale, Heintzman and Jenson had declared their intentions earlier while incumbent McKenzie hadn't returned numerous calls from The Chief asking about his intentions.The surprise candidates filing their papers on the last day were Ricker, McBride and Forsythe.
