Martin Davis, of Gibsons, spends about a month every summer looking for B.C. bears to capture through his long lens.
Recently, the professional photographer was rewarded with a grizzly sow and her two cubs in a farm field in the Squamish-Lillooet region.

Davis says he shoots people for his job and wildlife for fun.
He said this bruin photography session was cool because he got to watch them for about an hour.
He stresses that he uses a 600-millimetre lens and was about half a kilometre away from the animals.
"[I am] not going right up to them interfering with their life or anything," he stressed.
"If you get too close and you're bothering them, then they get nervous and I don't see a need to make them nervous just to get the pictures."
The cubs were born this year, he said, noting he saw them in the spring when they were much smaller.
