The 2025 Invictus Games kickoff just got even bigger.

Chris Martin has joined the opening ceremony lineup. On Feb. 8, he'll join decorated artists Katy Perry, Noah Kahan, Roxane Bruneau and Nelly Furtado in lighting up B.C. Place.

The lead vocalist for Coldplay has more than 100 million albums sold, seven Grammys and nine BRIT awards under his belt. He also composed the Invictus Anthem in 2014, based on the original text of William Ernest Henley’s 1875 poem "Invictus".

The anthem debuted at the first Invictus Games in London 2014, sung by three serving soldiers, and has been featured at the medal ceremonies of each subsequent Invictus Games.

An estimated 550 athletes from 23 nations will compete at the Games in Vancouver and Whistler from Feb. 8 to 16. More details are available here.
