Looking to add a bit of thrill to your October plans? Or maybe you’re in the mood to carve a pumpkin while sipping on something cozy? Halloween in Squamish is bringing a mix of fright, fun, and festivities for everyone this year!  

Here are some of the events for you to check out: 

Brackendale Art Gallery (BAG) Halloween Events 

  1. Queergasm: Halloween Edition 
    When: Oct. 23; 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. 
    Where: Brackendale Art Gallery 
    Cost: $12.48–$23.76 sliding scale 
    A night of sensual art and performances for the 19+ crowd. This event promises an engaging blend of creativity and expression. Get your tickets here

  2. Risqué Masquerade 
    When: Oct. 25; 7 to 11:30 p.m. 
    Where: Brackendale Art Gallery 
    Cost: $30 early bird / $40 at the door ($35 for students) 
    At Luminesque Dance expect an evening of captivating performances and dance, perfect for those who love a bit of mystery. Get your tickets here

  3. Pumpkin Carving & Haunted Gallery 
    When: Oct. 26; 1 to 3 p.m. 
    Where: Brackendale Art Gallery 
    Cost: Free for admission

    When: Oct. 31; 5 to 10:30 p.m. 
    Where: Brackendale Art Gallery 
    Cost: $5 (5:00 PM family-friendly session) / $10 (7:30 PM spooky session) 
    End your Halloween season with a haunted house experience tailored for all ages and scare levels. Reserve your spot here

Britannia Mine Museum – FANG-Tastic Halloween 

When: Oct. 19 to 20 & Oct. 26 to 27; 9 to 4:30 p.m. 
Where: 150 Copper Dr, Britannia Beach 
Cost: $25 for children (5 to 17 years), $30 for adults, free for children under 4 
Take a spooky underground tour and explore bat-themed exhibits that blend thrills with education. 

Squamish Pumpkin Path 

When: Oct. 19 

Cost: Varies

Trickster’s Hideout – Rocky Horror Picture Show Screening 

When: Oct. 27, 6 p.m. 

Where: 38029 Cleveland Ave. 

Cost: Ticket info available online 

Get ready to do the Time Warp again with an interactive screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, hosted by Drea Moothu.  

Howe Sound Brewing Costume Party 

When: Oct. 31, 7 to 11:59 p.m. 
Where: Howe Sound Brewing 

Cost: Free entry, with food and drink available for purchase 
Dance the night away with live music from The Tequila Monkeys and DJ Mike North  

Garibaldi Highlands Elementary School Dances 

  1. Primary Dance: Oct. 24;  5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Cost: Free entry 

Enjoy music, costumes, and fun snacks at this school dance. 

  1. Intermediate Dance: Oct. 24;  7 p.m. 

Cost: $6.66 per ticket 

The older kids get their chance to dance and show off their costumes.  

Fireworks Restrictions 

Don’t forget—personal fireworks are prohibited in Squamish without a permit, and the Squamish Nation enforces a complete ban on fireworks on their lands. This policy ensures community safety and helps protect local wildlife during the dry fall season. Read more.
