The notice states that there won’t be any pyrotechnics, gunfire, or special effects involved.

A film crew will be setting up at Minaty Bay this week, but residents don’t need to worry about loud noises or disruptions.

According to a filming notice issued by the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) on Feb. 5, GEP Resident Inc. is scheduled to shoot on Feb. 6 and 7, with all activity confined to private property.

The notice states that there won’t be any pyrotechnics, gunfire, or special effects involved.

“We don’t anticipate any disruption to local residents at any point,” the production company stated in its notice.

Where is Minaty Bay?

Minaty Bay is an area along the western shore of Howe Sound; it is a private bay just to the south of Britannia Beach.

It falls within the SLRD’s Electoral Area D, which stretches from Britannia Beach to Paradise Valley.
