Free weekend transit service ends soon in Squamish

A transit service change is coming within the next couple of weeks in Squamish.

According to a news release from BC Transit and the District of Squamish, Route 5 South Parks will end on Sept. 5 along with free weekend transit. 

Route 5 connects users from downtown Squamish to the Adventure Centre, Darrell Bay, the Sea to Sky Gondola, Stawamus Chief and Valley Drive.

“We encourage our customers to use the Transit App, Google Transit or any other app of their choice for real-time bus tracking and planning your next transit journey,” reads the news release.
