Quest University arts and humanities teaching fellow Andrew Haringer held on to his “Jeopardy Champ” title Tuesday night on the popular quiz game show hosted by Alex Trebek. Despite failing to identify the correct Disney princess in the Final Jeopardy round on Monday night’s episode, Harington still managed to come out ahead of the other contestants by a single dollar to win the match.
Returning on Tuesday, Harington kept a strong lead throughout the episode, but proved his Jeopardy championship chops by betting his entire night’s earnings of $13,200 in the final round – and being the only contestant to phrase the correct question identifying Frankfurt, Germany as the location of the European World Bank.
Now a four-time Jeopardy champion, Haringer was scheduled to return Wednesday to defend the title against two more brainy adversaries. Keep reading The Squamish Chief to find out how our local game show champ makes out.
