The second edition of the Live at Squamish music festival is planned Aug. 20 and 21 at Squamish's Loggers Sports Grounds.
The inaugural festival attracted some 6,000 music fans to town Sept. 4 and 5, 2010 and the 2011 event will be a two-day event, festival organizers brand.LIVE announced on Tuesday (March 1).
The lineup of performers for the festival is to be announced in April. Last year's critically acclaimed lineup included the Decemberists, Bad Religion and DEVO, along with a host of Vancouver-area bands.
After the inaugural festival's success, brand.LIVE officials announced that they had signed a five-year agreement with the District of Squamish to produce the festival.
