Earlier this week, Squamish's John Buchanan took his boat over to check out the progress on the Woodfibre LNG (WLNG) site.
WLNG has started site preparation for construction of its LNG export facility.
"Part of this work includes sweeps for invasive species, relocation of existing stockpiles on site, mobilization of heavy equipment and preliminary site grading to prepare the site for the start of construction," according to the Woodfibre LNG website.
Crews from Woodfibre LNG’s construction subcontractor, LBLNG, are doing this work.
