Nine people have been elected to one- and two-year terms on the Squamish Chamber of Commerce board of directors beginning in 2012.
Six people were elected to two-year terms, Chamber officials announced in a statement issued on Monday (Nov. 28). Sameer Kajani of Inn on the Water, a past Chamber president, was re-elected to a two-year term. Others elected to two-year terms were Gina Ball of Mountain Orthotics, Michele Ellis of Verico Nova Financial, Gregory Fischer of Gelato Carina, Patrick Stafford-Smith of Vertical Strategies and Roopy Toor of Roopy Toor Global Mortgage.
Also, Denise Jimmo of Nexxion Inc. was re-elected to a one-year term as director, while Mike Quesnel of Stuntwood Enterprises and Heidi Van Lith were elected to one-year terms.
