Have you missed getting your farmer’s market fix this winter?
Well, there’s good news, the Squamish Farmer’s Market is back for its 22nd year as of Feb. 1 and is bringing with it some familiar faces, as well as new ones too.
When will the market be on?
The winter market will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on selected dates throughout winter.
- Feb.: 1 and 15
- March: 1, 15 and 29
- April: 5, 12, 19 and 26
The summer edition will kick off on May 3 until Oct. 25 and will have a slight shift in opening times.
“Summer market hours this year will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as we have gotten feedback from the community that they want to shop the market earlier so they can grab their provisions for the week and then go on to their activities before it gets too hot or busy out on the trails,” market manager Megan Verge told The Squamish Chief.
Vendors for the winter edition are locked in but the farmer’s market is accepting applications for the summer edition up until Feb. 10.
The market is at 37996 Cleveland Ave., in downtown Squamish.
