Seventh Neighbourhood Craft returns to downtown Squamish

Free outdoor market showcases local creative community in downtown Squamish.

If there’s one thing Squamish does well—it’s a market!

Making its seasonal return, the Neighbourhood Craft market will return to downtown Squamish this Saturday, Oct. 12.

Held between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 38174 Cleveland Avenue, the market will see over 20 artists, designers and creative vendors from Squamish and the surrounding regions.

“Neighbourhood Craft is a way to access free arts and culture and support local artists in the heart of Downtown Squamish,” Neighbourhood Market founding director Rachel Boguski said in a press release.

“People come to hang out, listen to music, see the range of vendor goods, connect with one another—it really is a feel-good place to be.

We look forward to welcoming back local artists as well as introducing new faces to the community.”

Visitors to Neighbourhood Craft will find art, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, vintage, apparel, home goods created by emerging artists.

The upcoming market will be the seventh Neighbourhood Craft since the Neighbourhood Society—the market host—was established in 2022.

Admission is free. Running concurrently will be the Squamish Farmers Market, which boasts over 50 vendors, local musicians, kids crafts and community tables.
