The first in a series of Smart Growth on the Ground meetings is scheduled to take place at the Sea to Sky Hotel.
The charrette kick off meeting will be starting on Monday (April 18) at 7:30 p.m.
The public meetings will offer a chance to meet the members of the charrette team and hear the details of the task they face in creating a vision for downtown.
A mid-course review is scheduled for Thursday (April 21) and a final open house presentation will take place the following Thursday (April 28).
During the course of the public meetings, the charrette team will finalize their vision for Smart Growth on the Ground and will put on paper what they come up with.
The mid-course review meeting will give everyone a chance to see how the plans are evolving and feedback on the work will be encouraged and accepted and factored into the final vision.
