Good Tuesday to you, Squamish.

While fall doesn't officially start for a bit—on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 5:43 a.m—it is feeling more autumn-like every day.

We will see a mix of sun and cloud today; expect a high of 22 C, dropping down to 12 C overnight, according to Environment Canada.

Showers and fog patches are expected overnight.

Yesterday's hot spot

Pemberton was the corridor hot spot yesterday.

According to Squamish meteorologist Jason Ross, the hottest place in the Sea to Sky Corridor on Monday was in Pemberton, which hit 28.3 C.

Squamish's high was 22.7 C at the airport; at Pam Rocks, on Howe Sound, the high was 20.1  C.

Whistler had a high of 21.7 C, while in the Callaghan Valley it was 19.4 C.

Looking ahead

Ross says that the second of two weak systems (the first moved in Monday), will move in Wednesday, bringing clouds, cooler temperatures, and a chance of showers to the area.

High pressure will rebuild on Thursday and Friday, with drier conditions.

"Welcome to fall," he said.

Wednesday, expect a high of 19 C and a low down to 13 C at night.

Thursday, the forecast is for sunshine, with a high of 20 C and a low down to 13 C.

Friday, expect it to be cloudy, with a high of 19 C and a low of 13 C.

The weekend will see more of the same, with showers expected.

The following are never allowed in Squamish:
