Three more bands have joined the 2011 Live at Squamish lineup that already includes international favourites Weezer, Metric and John Butler Trio.

The latest additions, announced on Monday (April 18), are Stars, Tommie Sunshine and She Stole My Beer - three groups that promise to bring more genres of music to the scene.

Montreal-based Stars' music has been described as beautiful, eloquent indie pop and is characterized by instrumentation, nimble mixing, telling lyrics and nuanced vocals.

DJ, producer, mixer and songwriter Tommie Sunshine has never been one to shy away from controversy. He is respected for his no-holds barred electro-house style, infused with the raw feeling of punk rock.

Formed in the late 1980s in Vancouver, four high school friends with a shared interest in classic rock, including Lynyrd Skynyrd and Neil Young, make up the much-loved rock jam band She Stole my Beer.

In addition to the new artists, organizer Brand.LIVE has secured additional camping since the on-site spots are sold out within days of being announced.

A limited amount of local camping, located at Dryden Creek off of Depot Road on Highway 99, has been secured. Since the campsite is approximately nine kilometres north of the Live at Squamish site, it includes a complimentary shuttle to the site as well as priority line access.

Camping spots can be selected when purchasing tickets at www.liveatsquamish.com.
