The District of Squamish honoured the local LGBTQ2S+ community by hoisting the Progress Pride flag over municipal hall on Sept. 1.
Dozens were assembled as Mayor Karen Elliott gave remarks on the importance of inclusivity.
Trevor Wulff, a board member with Pride Squamish, told The Squamish Chief that it was heartening to see the support from the town during the occasion.
