Update: Whistler RCMP confirm a man who went missing on the evening of Sept. 18 has been found.

"The Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP is pleased to report that the 24-year old male reported missing on Sept. 19, 2024, has been located," said Cst. Katrina Boehmer, Media Relations Officer for the Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP, in a release.

"The Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP wishes to thank the media and the public for their assistance."

Police in Whistler are "urgently" seeking the public's assistance in finding a man who went missing the evening of Sept. 18.

The man was last seen leaving northbound from Wayside Park, on a paddleboard, just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

“[The man's] family is extremely concerned for his well-being," said Cst. Katrina Boehmer, Media Relations Officer for the Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP, in a release.

"We are asking anyone who may have seen [him] between the evening of Sept. 18 and today to contact our investigators immediately at (604) 932-3044.”
