Community touch rugby is back in Pemberton.

This Saturday, Aug. 24 at 10 a.m., locals and visitors are invited to Den Duyf Park for a recreational, non-contact game hosted by the Axemen Rugby Club. The event is designed to accommodate women, men, youth, veteran players and newcomers alike, and will be followed at 11 a.m. by training for the senior men's roster.

Ladies of all ages and skill levels will soon receive their own open training at Howe Sound Secondary Field. The session will be held Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.

"It's the perfect opportunity to get active, meet new people, and experience the incredible community spirit that rugby offers," wrote an Axemen representative on social media. "Rugby is more than a sport – it's a community. Join us and be part of something special!"
