Get ready for some local trails to get much busier, at least for one day.
The Squamish Enduro race is coming to town on April 21.
About 600 participants are expected to be on the trails from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and, according to race organizers, they’ve been told they will be sharing the trails with other users on the day.
All three courses in the Squamish Enduro will start from the Squamish Valley Golf Course.
Affected trails for the short course are available on the Squamish Enduro website, along with particulars about the course and user expectations. Also available is details on the classic course.
A full list of affected trails for the 2024 Full Course will be available from April 18 at 8:30 p.m.
Organizers have all necessary permitting from the Ministries of Forests, Lands, Natural Resources Operations (FLNRO), Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS) and Transport, BC parks, the District of Squamish, Vancouver Coastal Health and private landowners.
