The Squamish Quilter's Guild will meet at the Sandman Inn on Wednesday (Feb. 5) with a general sewing day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., when you are encouraged to work on your own projects. The Squamish Food Bank will distribute grocery hampers on Wednesday (Feb. 5) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Alano Club on Third Avenue.
Laughing yoga is a simple, life-changing form of exercise using yoga based on deep breathing and simulated laughter exercises. Certified laughter yoga leader Bev Blackett will facilitate. It will help you to reduce stress and bring laughter into your life. Classes will run on the first Saturday of each month at the Squamish Seniors Centre and the first session is Saturday (Feb. 1) from 3 to 4 p.m. Please dress comfortably and take along a water bottle. The cost is by donation.

It's Baby Party time at the Squamish Public Library on Thursday (Feb. 6) starting at 10:30 a.m. The event is in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health and it is a time to enjoy a special story time and refreshments. Baby packages will be available for parents who did not receive a baby package when they were born. A health nurse will also be at the library to answer questions.
Another bingo night is planned at the Royal Canadian Legion branch #277 on Monday (Feb. 3) with doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Join local physiotherapist Angela Simpson at the Squamish Seniors Centre on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. to learn about pelvic floor health issues such as preventing incontinence as you age. This class is free of charge but please pre-register by Feb. 6.
