Please accept this letter of support for the proposed Sea to Sky Gondola project.
I have been a Squamish resident for four years and have not yet had the pleasure of working in this community. This project represents employment opportunities for many people like me who have chosen Squamish for its community living and recreational life. The Sea to Sky Gondola project has the capability of becoming one of the top employers in Squamish. This is great news for our community!
Another key benefit of the Sea to Sky project is increased access to the backcountry for both athletes and recreationalists alike. This project will offer a wider range of activities to a wider range of user groups, all of which will promote much-needed growth in Squamish.
I urge council to help expedite this project through the rezoning process so construction can commence.
