Advance voting is now behind us.

If you attended any of the advance voting days (which ended yesterday, Oct. 16), you likely already know that they were pretty busy with eager voters.

Elections BC says that, while they don't have Squamish-specific stats, there were 10,904 advance voters for the West Vancouver-Sea to Sky riding.

In 2020, total advance turnout for West Vancouver-Sea to Sky was 10,288.

The increase seems to be reflected in our own polling.

The Squamish Chief polled 234 readers and asked the question: When/how do you vote?

The poll ran from 10/9/2024 to 10/17/2024. Of the 234 votes, we can determine that 110 are from within the community.
