The Sea to Sky Sirens would like to thank the full house of fans that supported us at our first home bout against Nanaimo's Harbour City Rollers this past Saturday (June 18). It was so great to look in the arena stands and see grandparents, friends, and kidlets alike all having a time. Thanks also to the awesome group of vollies who took tickets, sold beer, kept score, and did so much more all in the name of derby. The enthusiasm of Saturday's sold out crowd wowed the Nanaimo girls who have been commenting that Squamish is the best place to play. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our July 2 and July 16 bouts.
