So I see that your well-trained seals on the SODC Board have come up with what has been announced from the highest treetop as a "deal" on the disposition of the SODC lands.

Are you really serious?

This is a very bad joke on the people of Squamish, meant entirely to suck them into re-electing you next fall.

Of course there is no "deal" here.

You are going to waste another year playing with your so-called buyer, and in the end you will get nothing other than another $1 million worth of consultant bills.

You have taken this parcel of land from a cost of $2 to debts of some $10 million. All to accomplish absolutely nothing other than enriching the army of consultants lapped around your feet.

So it is very nice for Coun. Race to inform us, "not to worry, we can pay off the debts with the money from the sale of land in the industrial park."

Nice try - he knows that $8 million is smoke and mirrors.

The buyer for those lands has the option to take a walk after only paying some of the money and after cherry picking the best part of the site.

Most of you councillors are right out of Dumb and Dumber.

The people of Squamish deserve much better and hopefully for the sake of this community, come the fall of 2014, most of you will be turfed.
