Squamish restaurant and bar Cordelia’s Locket has announced that it has sold.
On Saturday, March 2, it was announced on social media that the waterfront restaurant and bar just off Loggers Lane sold.
The social media page did not list information about who it was sold to or what’s next.
“To our valued guests, we are here to announce that Cordelia’s Locket has been sold and our doors are closed. Stay tuned as the new owners will announce their plans for reopening in the coming weeks,” reads an Instagram post by the business, which was established in 2020 and opened in 2021.
The post continues, “From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! We truly have appreciated all the love and support over the past 2.5 years,” and is signed off by the founders Melissa Steacy and Kelly Ann Woods.
Overlooking the Mamquam Blind Channel, the pedestrian bridge currently under construction will connect near the location when completed.
The sale marks another recent restaurant change, as Cork and Craft Taphouse sold in mid-January of this year and The Nest location remains for sale.
The Squamish Chief reached out to Cordelia’s Locket for more on the recent news, and we will update this story if and when we hear back.
