While most things are being postponed or cancelled due to the pandemic, entrepreneurs downtown are extending their hours so locals can get their shop on.
Every Friday in December is Late Night shopping in downtown Squamish.
Many businesses have special deals and incentives for holiday shoppers and are extending their opening hours until 8 p.m. every Friday in December.
Every business has increased cleaning and social distancing measures in place to keep staff and shoppers safe. "Be sure to pop in for a drink or dinner afterwards at many of the downtown restaurants, eateries and breweries," said Kerry Neil the executive director of the Downtown Squamish Business Improvement Association in the release.
The Squamish Downtown BIA is running the 21 days of Christmas campaign where shoppers can win over $3,500 in prizes at participating businesses.
