It is with great sadness the Harney family announces the passing of their mother and Nana, Margaret Francis Harney.
Margaret passed away peacefully on Nov. 12, 2022, aged 93 years.
Predeceased by husband Denis, and daughter Margaret Anne.
Maggie will be lovingly remembered by sons Pat and Denis, and daughter Mary (Jori) and as “Nana” to Michael and James (Nicolette) Harney and Madlaina (Jacob) and Liam Guetg.
She is survived by three brothers, Mick (Tess), George (Jane), and Tommy (Kathleen), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will fondly remember her. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors involved in Margaret’s care.
Prayers are offered Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at Squamish Funeral Chapel at 7:30 p.m., 40440 Tantalus Rd.
