1. On today, there's the Ocean Film Festival Canada, at Eagle Eye Community Theatre, located at 38430 Buckley Ave., from 6 to 9 p.m. 

"A night of awe-inspiring ocean films! Get ready to be amazed by the beauty and power of the sea. From breathtaking underwater footage to inspiring stories of marine conservation, this event is perfect for ocean lovers of all ages. 2.  Also April 4, Rumpus is at Trickster's Hideout, located at 38005 Cleveland Ave., from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. 

"Get ready, Squamish! Rumpus is bringing the Freak Tour to Trickster's Hideout for a night of high-energy beats, infectious grooves, and non-stop movement. Known for his electrifying fusion of house, funk, and bass-driven rhythms, Rumpus is a force to be reckoned with—his signature sound will have you dancing from start to finish," reads the listing. 

3April 5, check out The Great Divide - Canada's Tribute to The Band at Brackendale Art Gallery: Café & Culture Centre, at 41950 Government Rd, from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

"The Great Divide perform the music of The Band from their careers with Bob Dylan, through Music From Big Pink and up to The Last Waltz. Fully seated show. Come early for dinner & drinks before the show," reads the listing.

4. On April 8, there's the Squamish Chamber of Commerce Lunch & Learn 2025: From Hire to Farewell with Race & Company, at the Adventure Centre from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

5. On April 10, check out A Story of Karma: Author Talk with Michael Schauch, at the Squamish Library, located at 37907 2 Ave., from 6:30 to 8 p.m. 

"Join us at the library to hear from Squamish-based author Michael Schauch, who will be reading from his book A Story of Karma: Finding Love and Truth in the Lost Valley of the Himalayas, an 'inspiring story about nature and human connection,'" reads the listing.

6. Looking ahead to April 24, save the date for the Your Closet Catwalk Fashion Show at Brackendale Art Gallery from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

"We invite fashion enthusiasts, trendsetters, and eco-conscious individuals to witness a unique runway experience where models showcase stunning outfits crafted entirely from their existing closets," reads the listing.
