1. Today, April 17, celebrate Easter early with Easter Special at Tiny Tots Gym, located at 39668 Government Rd, from 4 to 6 p.m.
"Join us for an egg-citing Easter event .... We’ve got a basket full of fun planned:: 🥚 Egg Hunt with the Tiny Tots Bunny 🎨 Face Painting 🐇 Real Bunny Meet & Treat 🤸♂️ Plus all the everyday fun your little ones love at the gym," reads the listing.
2. Also April 17, there's the S2S Entrepreneur Meet-Up at Trickster's Hideout, located at 38005 Cleveland Ave., from 5 to 8 p.m.
"Kombucha, chips & dip, connections! Join our business minded group, sharing stories, swapping solutions, and supporting each other in our business endeavors, whether you are in the inception phase, growing or ready to exit," reads the listing.
3. Also tonight April 17, locals can check out Climbing, Comedy & Chaos: A Wildertainment Movie Night at Valhalla Pure Outfitters, located at 1200 Hunter Place, from 7 to 9 p.m.
"Join us for the community movie night to start the summer, get hyped about climbing, adventures, travel and our environment as we watch three locally created, produced films starring our local community members!" reads the listing.
4 On April 19, enjoy music outside at the Reggae Beats Party at the Mamquam River Campground, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
"Join us for a night of dancing at the Mamquam River Access Society's (MRAS) fourth annual One Love Reggae Beats party, rain or shine! 19+ event. $20 tickets advanced, $25 at the door includes camping," reads the listing.
5. Looking ahead to April 24, save the date for the Your Closet Catwalk Fashion Show at Brackendale Art Gallery from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
"We invite fashion enthusiasts, trendsetters, and eco-conscious individuals to witness a unique runway experience where models showcase stunning outfits crafted entirely from their existing closets," reads the listing.
6. If you are making plans for May, perhaps put this May 10th event in your flight path. The Squamish Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Bird Festival is on from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Junction Park & O'Siyam Pavilion downtown.
"Join our Bird Friendly Squamish team for a vibrant community celebration of birds and learn how we can create safer shared spaces for them. Wear your brightest, most colourful outfit, and join us in welcoming the birds back this spring," reads the listing.
