Pumpkin Spice Lattes are SO OVER. That’s because Starbucks is getting into full festive mode with the return of their holiday drink lineup, along with new cups, and a brand new Northwest-y latte, and it all starts November 2.
First, lest there be any panic: the Gingerbread Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Chestnut Praline Latte, Caramel Brulé Latte, and Eggnog Latte are all coming back, as well as their Cranberry Bliss bar, and Christmas Blend brewed coffee and beans.
For something completely new for 2018, Starbucks is debuting the Juniper Latte, a “woodsy” drink inspired by their Seattle Roastery (which explains the PacNW vibes) that goes along with “the smell of freshly cut trees, a cold breath of winter air, the sound of footsteps crunching on snow” you know from the holiday season, in their words. It’s got an “evergreen aroma” with “hints of sage.”
New snacks include a Pistachio Honey Croissant and a Chocolate Swirl Brioche.
The holiday drinks will be served in newly-designed seasonal cups, which may once again as in recent years make you feel either not enough or too Christmassy, so adjust your ire level accordingly when you catch sight of the red and green designs culled from Starbucks Christmas blend coffee packaging.
Introducing the limited-edition #Reusable #RedCup! Tomorrow (Nov. 2), get yours for free with the purchase of any holiday drink, and celebrate all season long. ✨

“The new designs, adorned with retro-graphic patterns, each draw inspiration from blending traditions and styles with the common goal of bringing people together,” says the ‘bux–so basically don’t go overboard by thinking the coffee company is part of the war on Christmas, or war or anything, really. It’s just coffee.
No matter your stance on these cup designs, if you want to wrap your mitts around a free reusable cup, if you are among the first 50 customers to purchase a holiday beverage at participating Starbucks Canada locations on November 2, you can get a reusable red cup for free, while supplies last.
