Father’s Day is just around the corner and so is the first Squamish Street Market of the year.
The summer event is hitting the streets on June 16, Father’s Day, with the return of live performances, the Furry Foxes, Ducks in a Truck by the Squamish Rotary Club and vendors including food trucks.
Starting at noon, there will be a car show and a family-friendly beer and cider garden from local brewer Backcountry Brewing, Northyards Cider Co. and Norman Rudy’s. At 2 p.m., bands take the O’Siyam Pavilion Stage.
The free event welcomes all, Bianca Peters said in a press release.
“Locals, newcomers, day-trippers and tourists are all invited to attend and check out what the Squamish Street Market has to offer them,” Peters said.
The market will return once a month during the summer, coming back to Squamish streets on July 14 and August 11.
