The Squamish Rotary Club is looking for the Men of Sea to Sky Country to participate in a charity fundraising talent night in May of this year.
If you are a charity and looking to finance your project for this year, this is your chance to show your talent off, plus gain financial assistance from the Squamish Rotary Club.
The attendees at the evening will vote for their favourite performer, and for a local charity which will receive one half of the funds on the basis of how the ticket holders cast their votes.
The winner of the talent contest will win the other half of the funds for his chosen charity as well as a trophy and a $500 cash prize.
The event takes place May 15, 2004 at the Eagle Eye Theatre.
Entrants must be male (single or group entries) ready to show their talent in front of a panel of judges and an audience of 200 appreciative women.
Any talent that can be judged will be accepted. The contest will be limited to 10 entries with each act having a maximum of five minutes to perform. In the case of duplicate entries in a particular category, such as same musical performance, the Squamish Rotary Club reserves the right to reduce the field.

Men interested in participating and representative of local charities are invited to an information meeting on Thursday (Feb. 5) at the Howe Sound School District offices on Second Avenue at 7 p.m. for more details.
