Get ready for Squamish Days Loggers Sports Festival taking place until Aug. 7.
The event is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. It is now one of the oldest continuously running festivals in B.C. and has a long record of innovation, pioneering and setting standards.
Loggers sports include axe-throwing, birling, butcher block chop, chockerman’s race, hand bucking and many more.
This family-friendly festival also includes a chair carving contest, a chili cook-off, the annual bed race down Cleveland Avenue, Loggers’ Stomp Dance, a children’s festival and a parade.
