I am writing to show my support for the Squamish Oceanfront Development Plan.
As a long time Squamish resident and business owner, I have watched our little town go through many changes.
The development of this area would be the most positive so far by making our town a distinguished destination area as well as an even more spectacular place for residents to call home.
Squamish needs this area developed so that we may start attracting more residents and businesses. The more amenities we have here, the less we need to drive to Vancouver and the more attractive we become to people passing through and those considering to live/work here.
I have been to most of the meetings with respect to this plan and it would seem that even though you can't please everyone, they have done their best to let everyone be heard and have input on the matter.
My only hope is that we will see this plan continue quickly and have it produce an area that my family and I can begin to use and appreciate in the near future.
Let's stop talking and start producing!
